Our story
K9 Support Squadron (KSS) is an offshoot of Jade's Legacy Dog Rescue in New Caney, Texas, Jade's rescues the dogs from the streets, gets them healthy, socialized, and trains the dogs, ultimately finding homes for these amazing creatures. Jade's has sent dogs to K9s for veterans groups outside of Texas, and a need was identified here.
John, the founder, is a certified dog trainer and behaviorist. He has been rescuing and training dogs for 14 years. John is not a veteran, but he realizes how much he owes to veterans and wants to help.
Our advisory board includes combat veterans representing the Marines, Army, and Navy with specialities in operations, IT, and medical/mental health.
Our pups
All dogs made available to veterans are social, neurologically sound, and trainable.
